The first International Women's Day was celebrated in the year 1911 by Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, and Germany. United Nations also started celebrating the day from the year 1975. The first theme that was adopted in the year 1966 was "Celebrating the past, planning for the future."
Celebrating the international women's day is a way of expressing your love & gratitude towards the beautiful creation of God "Women''. It's to respect their rights, opinions, & freedom. The day teaches us how to be respectful towards women.
