Essay On Exam Stress Management Strategies During Covid-19 | Exam Stress Management Strategies in 1000 Words

In 2020, we witnessed a major outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19 that affected every nook and corner of the world. Be it the social sector, economic sector, political sector, education sector, etc, everything got hit by the pandemic.

It was challenging to concentrate on studies for students like me. Because the mode of classes physical classes changed into the online mode.
Covid-19 changed the way of teaching and learning methods. Before Covid-19, classes were carried out physically. But, after the pandemic hit, physical classes turned into virtual meetings.

When the world got hit by covid-19, we had to face many challenges. My whole lifestyle got disturbed. 

We felt stressed for a while. And then I tried my level best to come out of it. 
My name is ...... studying in class ..... Today I would like to share the strategies that I used to tackle the pandemic stress during the covid-19 lockdown.

To begin with, I stopped keeping myself updated about new covid-19 cases.  
Watching new channels which exaggerate everything makes one feel stressed. So I stopped watching news channels to keep myself calm and stress-free.

I used to read blogs about the precautions that one needs to take to protect themselves and their families from getting infected. I used to take all precautionary measures to keep myself protected.

Apart from reading blogs, I adopted a good habit of reading books. Since then books are my best friend. I use to love reading fiction as well as non-fiction books. 

Some of the books which I read during Covid-19 lockdown are as below;
  • The Alchemist.
  • IKIGAI.
  • How to win friends and influence people.
  • Homer's Iliad.
  • The power of your subconscious mind.
  • The world as I see it.
  • Rich dad poor dad.
  • Wings of Fire by APJ Abdul Kalam Azad.
  • The art of reading minds, etc.
I stopped spending time on social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
I thought, spending time unnecessarily on such apps would be a waste of time.

We all know, how important it is to do exercise for our physical health. So I used to spend at least 1 hour daily doing gym. 

And for mental health, I adopted a habit of doing Yoga and meditation. I learned to do different Yoga Asanas from YouTube Videos and online blogs.

I use to attend online classes regularly. I used to pay full attention to the lectures of my teachers.

I acquired new skills during my leisure time. I learned, how to code and make websites and apps.

As someone has rightly said; "A sound mind in a sound body." 
I use to eat well. I didn't eat junk food. I tried to avoid unhealthy foods as much possible as I could.

I used to sleep and wake up on time. I used to take 6-8 hours of quality sleep. Because to refresh one's body and mind, it is mandatory to sleep and wake up on time.
